I recently tried the 99% Water Baby Wipes from Sophie la Girafe, and I’m thrilled with them! As a parent, I’m always searching for safe and gentle baby products. Before discovering these wipes, we were using Water Wipes and Honest baby wipes. We moved away from Water Wipes due to a noticeable ammonia smell and their thinness. While we liked Honest Baby Wipes, I was on the lookout for a more affordable yet equally safe alternative.
Here's what I loved about Sophie la Girafe
Gentle and Safe
I appreciate that all the ingredients are listed on the back, along with detailed explanations of their purpose and origin. I even checked each one on ewg.org to ensure they were safe.
If you're not familiar with EWG, it's the Environmental Working Group, a nonprofit organization in the U.S. dedicated to public health and environmental issues. EWG offers research, advocacy, and education on a range of topics, including consumer products, food, and environmental health. You can search for ingredients in a product, and it will provide information on how safe or hazardous they are.
Effective Cleaning
I believe that the right balance of texture, thickness, and moisture is key to effective and efficient cleaning. Sophie la Girafe baby wipes have the ideal texture, thickness, and moisture, making cleaning quicker and requiring fewer wipes.
Convenient Packaging
The packaging is great with a resealable lid that keeps the wipes fresh. They’re easy to grab, even with one hand. The packaging is the perfect size and fits seamlessly in my diaper bag.
Cost
They are sold in cases of 12 packs of 64 wipes (Total 768 wipes) on their website for $39. Honest baby wipes (720 count) are sold for $44.99.
